I have been the "Official Artist for the USS Sequoia Presidential Yacht" since 2000 and during that time, I have had the rare privilege to design and create the Presidential seals that adorn the smokestack and to make the gold leaf lettered stern boards and life rings for this historic boat. I have been given permission by Gary Silversmith, who owns the Sequoia,to offer these unique pen and pencil sets for sale to the public. The wood used in these desk sets are authentic pieces from the Sequoia.I collected every piece personally. This is a rare opportunity to own a true piece of American History. The Presidential seals I attach to each desk set, are an exact duplicate of the ones I created for the Sequoia. This is the only place in the world where these are available. The writing instruments for the desk sets are exclusively from the Cross Pen company and are the obvious choice because of their superb quality and their long associationwith American history.
